Take a look at the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards
ISTE Standards
  1. Creativity and Innovation - Students demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, and develop innovative products and processes using technology. Students are building a band together. They are literally building an organization based upon rock n' roll and applying their own creative twist to it.
  2. Communication and Collaboration - Students use digital media and environments to communicate and work collaboratively, including at a distance, to support individual learning and contribute to the learning of others. The students have to communicate with each other to make the band. They fill out the BAND FORM together and submit their work as a group.
  3. Research and information fluency - Students apply digital tools to gather, evaluate, and use information. They fill out the BAND FORM digitally as well as insert media into their BAND FORM for their band photo.
  4. Critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making - Students use critical thinking skills to plan and conduct research, manage projects, solve problems, and make informed decisions using appropriate digital tools and resources. They have to think about how their band is going to be critically. They have to think about what is cool and what would definitely be the best way to be a band.

Webquest description
-
Appropriate grade levels can vary: 3-6 grade
This Webquest doesn't focus on a standard subject.

If we were to put it in a subject, I would choose music/art/literature art
This webquest is designed to have fun and to be creative in exploring a culture that is very relevant from the mid 20th century to today and the future. Rock n' roll isn't something evil that we expect teenagers to listen to because their hormones are outrageous. Everyone can connect within some good rock n' roll tunes. This webquest is intentionally supposed to get students together and to be creative, like a real band. It's supposed to be a fun learning experience. So what if rock n' roll is rowdy, that's how God created us.

Tips for a teacher
-
I have only two tips for you. Make it as fun as you possibly can. You be creative so that the kids are motivated and excited to be in a rock n' roll band. If it's possible for you to have instruments, use them. That's only more learning for the kids. The second thing is to try and monitor them as best you can. They can easily find rock songs that have inappropriate lyrics in them. If they stumble upon such things, just explain that rock n' roll is and art-form. People can choose to do whatever they want in their art, but also everything has a consequence. Be fun. Be excited. Rock and roll your classroom!
